0915	Arrive. Plan for the morning is to get some interesting sub-cubes
		together, now that I understand the data more. Also need
		to go to the bank, and a tour of the GBT at 1:30p.
0920	Drat, the data didn't get copied properly last night... i have to
		recopy it now
0945	files copied. beginning to load/view them (only takes about 40
		seconds to load now, from local disk!)
	sub-cube 1:
		 extract('GASS_WGTMED','19:20:0','-13d43m0s','J2000',100,100)
1000	well, that command seemed ok, but it got an error and deleted all
		my local copies of the cubes, so I'm re-copying. perhaps
		100x100 went off the edge of the image?
1025	All re-copied, have been looking up LMC/SMC/MS coordinates to know
		where to look. retrying extract:

		(took about 4 minutes to run)
	this one worked, but deleted the original 001 file. need to figure
		out how to run extract without overwriting files.
1100	attempt:

		(took less than a minute. no errors reported)
		3 degrees in DEC, 35 minutes in RA
	now trying:

		(took about 90 seconds to extract, about 3 minutes to display)
1115	call from them upstairs, head up to Pisano's office to look
		through cubes. talk about data quality/etc/etc

1230	back from lunch, look through more cubes. found strange lines that
		move through the data at high positive velocities - no
		explanation yet
	plan for me to do: make sub-cubes from data. some should be on
		the magellanic stream, some should be in "boring" regions
		to check spectrum quality/etc. just ~40x40 cubes extracted
		for now
	long(ish) term plan - get iras(IR) data comparable to radio data.
